The popular holiday region of Upper Swabia lies between the Allgäu and the Swabian Alps, Lake Constance and the Danube. Not only does the region impress with its many historical old towns, it also invites you to relax in its beautiful natural landscape. The area always has a wide range of leisure opportunities on offer in both summer and winter. Be it traditional Swabian food, hiking, cycling on one of the many cycle paths in the region, relaxing in the thermal baths, visiting museums and events or simply just relaxing on Lake Constance – the region around the Germany's biggest lake has something for everyone’s taste.

The Upper Swabia region is particularly interesting for motorhome tourists, since it links a variety of themed routes. For example, you can drive along the Upper Swabian Baroque route and immerse yourself in the bygone baroque era. More than 50 baroque experience locations await you on four different routes covering a total distance of 760 km. Churches, monasteries, castles and baroque landscapes take you on a journey through the chronological history of the Upper Swabia region.

Another highlight is the Swabian spa route (Schwäbische Bäderstraße). This leads from Lake Constance to the Allgäu, linking many spas and therapeutic baths. Visit the spa and sauna area of the region and enjoy the breathtaking landscape of Oberschwaben as you go.

Aulendorf, the home of the Carthago group, is also situated on the Upper Swabian Baroque route and the Swabian spa route. Come and visit us in Carthago City when you are on your tour of Upper Swabia!
